If you upgrade to or install McAfee Security Center 7.0, you will not be able to log into Encompass or Deerbrook.
After submitting your user id and password you will receive a white screen that will not load or it may time out and give you a page cannot be displayed.
You can confirm the installation of McAfee Security Center version 7.0 by looking for these icons on the desktop.
The below icons will also be present in the system tray.
We are working with McAfee support to resolve this problem. Until this is done, agents will need to install a patch from InterLinkHelp.com. Select the “Downloads and Links” link on the left; the McAfee Security Center 7.0 Fix will appear on the right as the 7th option in the first section. Click on this and it will launch the fix.
Select Open or Run when prompted. A small black box will pop open for a moment and close. It will take approximately 20 seconds for the fix to completely run, the PC may request a reboot. No other actions are required; you should be able to log in at this point.
