Removing Search 2020

Search 2020 and 2020 search are the same program. It includes a toolbar and a tracking component. The tracking component tracks you usage of the Internet and reports this back to a central server.  This tracking can cause a slow down of your system and Internet connection. 

 To Remove the Toolbar.

Find 2020 search in add / remove programs

This will remove the toolbar, however the 2020 Search program item will remain in the add/remove programs and the tracking software will remain active. 

 A product like Spybot Search and Destroy, Pets Patrol or Ad-Aware will remove and disable the tracking feature.

 The program Item itself does not seem to be removable from the Add/Remove programs list.
