Checking your version of Sun Java

Open a session of Internet Explorer and select Tools then Internet Options. 

Click the Advanced tab then scroll down to half way where you will see Java (Sun).  The version will be identified next to the check box.  If it is not installed the Java (Sun) will not be present.  Make sure the version is 1.4.0 or greater.  Once done click Cancel.
