Microsoft Journal Viewer error when launching Adobe Reader - Install Microsoft Journal Viewer
When you start Adobe Acrobat, it returns the message "The feature you
are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."
Details
When you click Cancel, Acrobat returns the following messages:
-- "An installation package for the product Microsoft windows journal
viewer cannot be found."
-- "Path to a folder containing the installation package Microsoft windows
journal viewer.msi..."
Solution: Repair Journal Viewer.
Download Windows Journal Viewer, and then repair the application:
1. Download Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer 1.5 from Microsoft's Web site at www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspx?displaylang=en.
2. Run the installer (Setup.exe), select Repair Microsoft Windows Journal
Viewer, and then click Finish.
If the issue recurs, use the Add or Remove Programs utility to remove Windows
Journal Viewer.
