Optimizing Your Browser for InterLink  

Subscribing to the Encompass / Deerbrook Optimization Service automatically optimizes your browser for InterLink.  This resolves many common errors and performance problems.  Once logged into Encompass or Deerbrook, go to the "Help" menu to learn more.

To Manual configure your browser follow these procedures.  To print this page, right click with your mouse and select "print." 

• Open a session of Internet Explorer 

• Click "Tools"

• Click "Internet Options"

• Select the "General" Tab

• Click "Delete Files"

• When the "Delete Files" window appears, check "Delete all off line content"

• Click "OK" - An hour glass may appear

• You should still be on the "General Tab

• Click "Settings"

• On the "Settings" window

  • Click the "Automatically" radial button

  • Click "OK"
    

• Click the "Security Tab": 

  • Click the Trusted sites in the Select a Web... window

  • Click the "Default Level" button

  • Click "Sites"

• On the "Trusted sites" window:

  • Uncheck the "Require server verification.........." box

  • Type in the following domains into the "Add this Web..." field one at a time and click "Add"

    • Allstate.com

    • Deerbrook.com

    • Encompassinsurance.com

  • You can recheck the "Require server verification.........." box at this point or leave it unchecked.

  • Click "OK"

Note: The second time you access "Trusted Sites a " *. " will appear in front of each "Web Sites" entry.

• Select the "Privacy" Tab (I.E. 6.0 only):  

  • Click the Picture below that matches your "Privacy" page.
